The Beetle is suitable for children with mild to moderate SEND
The Beetle is an affordable buggy alternative suitable from 6 months to 6 years old.
If you have more than one child, the Beetle allows all children to travel together with a special sensory block canopy.
It is not registered as a medical device, so always consult with your child’s doctor and/or therapist before making any purchase decisions.
No Tipping Risks
-
The Beetle has a wide rectangular base standing closer to the ground thus providing the highest level of safety and stability when compared to standard pushchairs.
-
The front swivel wheels make pushing the Beetle a breeze even when folded. However, when fully loaded (up to 150kg), they become much heavier and difficult to lift over obstacles.
150 kg Weight Load
-
The Beetle is equipped with two double seats positioned to face each other. Each seat is furnished with two harnesses and can accommodate a maximum weight of 75kg (35kg per child). Once a child surpasses the double seat's space, they can transition to sitting directly inside the wagon (see Product Load section)
-
The Beetle has a total weight load capacity up to 150kg, thus sturdy enough to carry heavy medical equipments and teenagers with SEND.
Sensory Block
-
The Beetle is the only stroller wagon in the market featuring 4 concealed and retractable panels. These panels can be fastened against the frame to provide protection from strong winds and rain. In other words, they are UK weather proof.
-
The side panels are made of black fabric blocking sunrays while allowing airflow. The front and rear panels are detachable so you can use transparent rain cover or black fabric to create a dark room with an open sky. This unique design imparts a sense of security to the child, akin to being enclosed in a fortress.
Ample Space
-
The Beetle has an internal surface area of 80cm x 60cm. Thus, large enough to provide ample room for kids with fears of being confined to small spaces or fears of being tied down.
-
Many parents opt to utilize just one double seat and detach the other to create a mobile playpen for their two children while on the go.
